The City of Savannah levies a tax on tangible personal property used in a trade or business located within the city on January 1 of each year. Returns must be filed in person by 5:00PM, April 1 of current tax year. Payment must be made in the 4th quarter.

Returns and the amount of state tax withheld from an employee must be filed during the following month. A return must be filed regardless if no state tax was withheld.
